Welcome to Jupiter Classical Dressage
We breed purebred Lusitanos in the heart of Portugal and train them according to classical principles.
We do this with body and soul.
Our Lusitano stud farm Jupiter Classical Dressage is located in the Alentejo, one of the most beautiful and pristine regions of Portugal. Here, our purebred Lusitanos are raised in a species-appropriate manner on an area of more than 600 hectares.
All of our horses have an excellent character and an open-minded nature that is very attentive to people. They are inquisitive, courageous and particularly robust. In addition to a harmonious physique they have gaits of outstanding quality.
Special conditions are required to breed such a Lusitano, which we attach great importance to when rearing them. In order for our horses to develop not only their character but also their body in the best possible way, we provide them with extensive grazing areas where they have the opportunity to move freely in the herd on a very large area with different surfaces. Only in this way can their social skills, as well as their tendons, joints, heart and lungs, develop in an ideal way - an essential basis in every respect for growing into a healthy and balanced riding horse.

If you have sound experience in breeding & keeping and/or classical dressage and are enthusiastic about species-appropriate rearing and horse-friendly training, we can currently offer you the following positions:
For the training of our horses we are looking for the next possible date for a
Rider Classical Dressage (all genders)
who shares with us the basic idea of horse-friendly classical riding training from the very beginning.
For committed and horse-experienced people, we offer the opportunity for a multi-month
Internship at our stud farm
which offers an insight into the work at one of Portugal's largest stud farms.
